Samurai Ascent

Samurai Ascent is a fast-paced runner and platformer that puts players in control of a samurai climbing toward the top while cutting through enemies along the way. The gameplay focuses on timing and precision—you only need to master jumping and attacking to survive.

The character moves automatically, leaving players to react quickly to obstacles and enemies that appear in their path. Jumping helps avoid traps and gaps, while swinging the katana clears anything standing in the way. It’s a balance between rhythm and reflex, rewarding those who can stay calm and consistent under pressure.

Controls are simple: press the Up key to jump, and use Z, X, or C (or the ‘O’ and ‘X’ buttons) to attack. Mastering when to strike or stay airborne makes the difference between climbing higher or falling behind.
