Dead Plate is a 2D horror RPG with restaurant tycoon elements, mixed with visual novel and point‑and‑click gameplay. The story takes place in late 1960s France and follows Rody, a young waiter working at a high‑end bistro owned by a well‑known chef named Vince. Rody has just one week to earn as much money as possible, hoping to impress his girlfriend, Manon.

The game blends management decisions with story‑driven choices, leading to four possible endings. Along the way, players experience a mix of everyday restaurant challenges and unsettling twists that push the story into darker territory.

Dead Plate includes over 70 illustrated scenes, multiple maps to explore, and thousands of lines of dialogue that drive the characters and their motives. These features help create a balance between the restaurant‑management setup and the horror atmosphere.
