FNF Doors Floor 1
FNF: Doors Floor 1 – A Survival Rhythm Experience
FNF: Doors Floor 1 is a rhythm-based point-and-click adventure game that drops players into a terrifying, unpredictable hotel setting. Instead of pressing arrows on a static menu, players physically explore 100 rooms, manage items, and try to survive relentless monster attacks.
After a cruise vacation ends in disaster, Boyfriend and Girlfriend find themselves stranded inside a massive, neglected building. This crossover draws heavy inspiration from the first-person horror title DOORS, originally created by Lightning_Splash and published under LSPLASH. But the mod team didn’t just borrow the characters and call it a day. They completely rebuilt the traditional Friday Night Funkin’ format to match the source material. You aren’t picking tracks from a simple list anymore.
Survival requires actual environmental interaction. Players have to open every single door and shine a flashlight into unlit corners. You also need to search for hidden coins to use at the in-game shop. If a hostile entity suddenly rushes down the corridor, your only option is to jump into a closet. While music battles serve as your main defense against many of the creatures waiting in the dark, some encounters bypass the rhythm mechanics entirely. Sometimes you just have to run.
Here is where the level design gets interesting. Standard mods usually organize songs into linear weeks. Floor 1 abandons that structure entirely in favor of a randomized branching path. Almost every room presents two different doors. Your choices dictate which encounters you trigger, guaranteeing you won’t hear every track on your first run. That high level of replayability is intentional—and necessary to see everything the game has to offer.
Building something this complex takes time. With development starting in late 2022, the creators spent nearly three years refining the project. The result is over three hours of playable content featuring unique gameplay mechanics tailored to each specific monster. Because of the sheer length and branching paths, the developers strongly advise against trying to beat the entire game in a single session.
