FNF Vs. Sonic.Exe 2 is an intense horror rhythm game mod that pits players against a corrupted, sinister version of the famous blue hedgehog. This musical showdown demands tight timing and deep focus to survive an unsettling rap battle.

The stage is undeniably bleak. You take on a song duel under a gloomy sky, flanked by grim sights—like the impaled head of Tails resting on a wooden stake. Players must hit their notes consistently while bizarre events happen all around them. It takes actual effort to keep your eyes on the arrows when the background environment starts to distort.

This specific character has a deep history on the internet. Plenty of creepypasta theories exist to explain this evil variant, but the true origin points back to a 2012 fan game created by Crimson the Bat. The mod development team, led by RightBurstUltra, built this Friday Night Funkin’ expansion as a faithful nod to that original lore.

They nailed the retro aesthetic. The game menus mimic an old CD-ROM interface to pull you directly into the atmosphere of the early 2010s web. Combined with a brand-new tracklist, the vibe feels genuinely heavy. There is also a specific incentive to push through the difficulty curve. If you manage to defeat Sonic.Exe, a hidden surprise unlocks on the main menu.
