Zombie Lab Escape is a zombie survival shooter set inside a sealed underground laboratory where a virus outbreak has turned the entire staff into infected. The security system has locked down the facility from the inside, and the only way out is to fight through it.

The premise is simple. The lights are out, the hallways are crawling with zombies, and every door between you and the exit is locked. Your job in Zombie Lab Escape is to move through the dark corridors, collect key items and components, and stay alive long enough to find the way out.

How Combat Works

Your character shoots automatically, always targeting the nearest infected. That might sound like the game plays itself. It doesn’t. Since aiming is handled for you, everything comes down to positioning—where you stand, when you retreat, and how you avoid getting surrounded. Players who stop moving don’t last long.

Killing zombies earns experience, and experience unlocks upgrades. Stacking the right upgrade combinations is where the game gets interesting, especially once the colossal mutants show up. These oversized enemies take real punishment before going down, and facing one without a solid build is a quick way back to the start.

Weapons and Progression

There are nine weapons to unlock and enhance in Zombie Lab Escape. The lineup includes a shotgun, crossbow, flamethrower, grenade launcher, and rocket launcher, among others. You can switch between unlocked weapons as you play, which matters more than you’d think—a flamethrower handles a tight hallway swarm very differently than a rocket launcher does.

Items on the ground get picked up automatically when you walk near them. Blocked paths work the same way: stand in the marked zone with the required resources and the path clears. No menus, no fuss.

Tips for Survival

Keep your distance and never let the horde close in from multiple sides. Safe zones exist throughout the lab—use them. Growing stronger between confrontations is the whole loop here, so don’t rush toward the exit underprepared. Search rooms. Grab everything.

And watch corners. Zombies lurk exactly where you’d expect them not to.
