The Amazing Digital Circus (TADC) Mind Games
TADC: Mind Games — Free Horror Visual Novel Set in The Amazing Digital Circus
TADC: Mind Games is a free horror visual novel that pulls you straight into the world of The Amazing Digital Circus. You don’t watch the story from the outside — you wake up inside the circus as a brand-new character, and things go sideways fast.
This is a fan-made, non-canon project. Think of it as a love letter from one corner of the fandom, built by people who wanted to see the darker version of that universe.
Who Made It and When
The game comes from PITCHBOX Studios, an indie team of more than 20 creatives who describe themselves as makers of colourful horrors. It was published on 19 June 2026 and is still in active development. What’s out right now is a first demo — a small slice meant to show where the project is headed.
One detail worth flagging for players who care about that sort of thing: no generative AI was used. The art is a collage of styles pieced together by fans, and honestly that patchwork look gives it a personality most polished projects lack.
Glitch Productions or Gooseworx is the creators behind the original show
The Premise
You materialize inside the circus and meet the cast. The demo keeps things tight, so for now you’ll only run into three characters: Pomni, Kinger, and a very unstable Caine. That last one is the hook. A version of Caine who has slipped off the rails fits the source material a little too well, and the writing leans into it.
The central tension comes from your choices. This is a choose-your-own-path setup where the wrong decision lands you somewhere unpleasant. Pick carefully.
Multiple Endings, All of Them Grim
Mind Games hands you several endings, and none of them are exactly happy. That’s the point. Players have been hunting down every branch — apparently there are five to find — and the replay loop is a big part of why the demo has landed so well.
How Scary Is It?
The horror here is light. The team rates the intensity around the level of a PG-13 film, so younger players and anyone wary of full-on scares can still get through it without too much trouble. It’s eerie and unsettling rather than relentless. That said, it earns its horror tag — the atmosphere does real work.
