Untitled Goose Game is a stealth puzzle game that drops players into a quiet village with one simple objective: disrupt daily life. You take on the role of an untamed bird completely dedicated to stealing items and setting up elaborate pranks.
On paper, the premise sounds absurd. In practice, the village acts as a living sandbox full of unsuspecting targets just waiting to be harassed. Every area—from the meticulous community gardens to the backyards of rival neighbors—presents unique environmental challenges. You have to watch how the residents move and learn their habits before acting.
Village Sandboxes and Unscripted Physics
Players get a dedicated to-do list for each section of the map. Completing these tasks actually takes genuine patience. You might need to trap a groundskeeper outside of his garden. Another objective involves figuring out how to steal a toy airplane so you can hide it in a market stall. The physics engine allows for completely unpredictable interactions along the way. Drop a stolen radio into a fountain and it shorts out. The game rarely holds your hand.
