Zones:

Night Hill Place is like the eerie version of Sonic’s Green Hill Zone. You, as Sonic, will face tough robots you can’t beat easily unless you find a special invincibility power-up or just avoid them altogether. At the end, you’ll have to fight a sneaky crab boss that shoots lots of exploding balls at you.

Once you beat the crab, you move to the second half of the stage which is filled with explosive enemies everywhere. This ends with a super tricky boss fight involving swinging wrecking balls.

In Special Place, it’s your job to guide Sonic safely without hitting the “GOAL” signs. It’s kind of like a careful walk through a trap-laden maze. If you mess up, Sonic just goes back to the last checkpoint.

Ruined Place takes you to a twisty level where Sonic gains a crazy new ability to fly by shooting exploding bullets. You need to be quick or Sonic loses rings fast, like in a movie where keeping speed is the only way to stay safe.

Labyrinthy Place is close and tight like a puzzle where a camera follows Sonic. If Sonic goes too high and then falls, he’s in trouble.

Unreal Place is another tricky labyrinth. Hit a block, and Sonic floats, so you can only move him left and right. Checkpoints help you not start over and there are Chaos Emeralds to collect.

In Scar Night Place, Eggman shows off a machine that makes bombs. This zone starts with ring collecting and a new boss battle where you have to wait for the bad guy to explode itself.

The second part of this level gets intense as walls become dangerous. Sonic can control gravity now and needs to carefully navigate through a maze filled with traps.

Finally, Finalor Place is the last stop with the toughest boss yet. Sonic must dodge crushing walls and exploding balls, and once you beat this, there’s an escape scene to wrap the adventure.
