The goal is simple—empty your hand before anyone else. When it’s your turn, match the top card on the pile by either color or number. If you don’t have a match, you’ll need to draw new cards until you can play. Don’t forget to press the “1” button when you have one card left, or you’ll be forced to take two extra cards as a penalty.

A standard deck includes 108 cards across four colors. Most of them are number cards, but there are also action cards and wild cards that make the game more unpredictable. Action cards include Skip (the next player loses a turn), Reverse (changes the direction of play), and Draw Two (the next player takes two cards and misses their turn). Wild cards allow players to change the active color, with the Wild Draw 4 forcing the next player to pick up four cards.

Four Colors is easy to learn but takes some thinking to win. Whether you’re playing against the computer or challenging friends, the mix of chance and strategy keeps each round interesting.
