It draws its theme and characters from the Power Rangers S.P.D. television series, which is based on the twenty-eighth season of the Power Rangers franchise.
Gameplay Overview
In Power Rangers S.P.D., players can choose from six different Rangers, each equipped with unique abilities that enhance gameplay diversity and strategic options:
- Red Ranger: Capable of walking through enemies and obstacles, emphasizing a straightforward combat style.
- Blue Ranger: Uses a force field to block attacks and prevent enemies from approaching, suited for defensive tactics.

- Shadow Ranger: Creates an energy blade to damage several enemies at once, ideal for crowd control.
The gameplay involves navigating various levels where players battle minor enemies using the Rangers’ abilities. As players progress, they encounter more challenging foes, culminating in boss fights that require utilizing the unique skills of each Ranger to succeed.
