“Danny Phantom: Urban Jungle” is a side-scrolling action video game developed by Altron and published by THQ, based on the “Urban Jungle” episode of the Nickelodeon TV series Danny Phantom. It’s the second video game adaptation for the series, following “Danny Phantom: The Ultimate Enemy.” Available for the Game Boy Advance, the game features Danny Phantom as he embarks on a mission to save Amity Park from various villains.

The story kicks off with Danny, Sam, and Tucker setting up for a movie night when the villain Undergrowth causes an earthquake at Fentonworks. Initially unable to defeat Undergrowth, Danny retreats to the Ghost Zone where he meets Frostbite, who teaches him to wield ice powers.

Returning from the Ghost Zone, Danny learns that Undergrowth has kidnapped Sam, intending to transform her into a “plant girl.” After rescuing Sam and defeating her plant clone, they discover Undergrowth’s core and decide to secure it in Walker’s Prison in the Ghost Zone. Using the Fenton Flyer, they journey there, but face complications when prison inmates steal the core and Walker tasks Danny with recapturing the escapees.

Amid various battles with notorious ghosts like the Lunch Lady Ghost and Technus, Danny eventually defeats all adversaries including Technus in the Internet and the combined form of the Lunch Lady Ghost and Undergrowth, dubbed Meat-N-Potatoes. With Amity Park safe once again, Danny finally returns to enjoy the long-awaited movie night with his friends. This game blends action-packed sequences with engaging storytelling, reflecting the spirit and adventure of the Danny Phantom series.
