Bullet Train II

Bullet Train II: Master Gravity in this 2D Bullet Hell Shooter

Bullet Train II is a 2D bullet hell action game that throws players straight into the middle of a high-stakes galactic heist. You pick up the pieces of a job started two years prior, blasting through waves of robotic enemies in a gritty space-western setting.

Gunfights and Gravity

Combat here is punishing. You are constantly moving, aiming, and firing while managing your exact positioning on the screen. But gravity manipulation is the real core of the experience. Flipping between the floor and ceiling is the only way to avoid the sheer volume of projectiles heading your way. Dash mechanics give you a brief, desperate window to escape tight spots.

Players need sharp reflexes, especially when facing enemies that utilize the same movement tricks you do. Encounters with specific foes—like the agile frogs or the imposing crab boss—force you to rethink your approach. It takes a few runs to adjust to the rhythm. Fortunately, the checkpoint system respects your time. Dying rarely means losing massive amounts of progress, so jumping back into the fray feels immediate.

A Space Western Atmosphere

The tone leans heavily into its sci-fi cowboy themes. The story unfolds through text exchanges, setting up the stakes of this interstellar robbery without bogging down the pacing. Visually, the character portraits and animations are surprisingly fluid. You would not expect this level of polish from a game originally developed by RipeMangoez on the Scratch engine. Outstanding.

And the original soundtrack by SquiggyGames gives every encounter a serious sense of urgency. The music hits hard—maybe harder than a browser game demands. It drives the action forward while you figure out how to clear the screen of hazards. The campaign is relatively short. That said, it packs enough challenge to keep players actively engaged until the final target drops.
