Reduce, Reuse, Raccoon

Reduce, Reuse, Raccoon is a game where you play as a raccoon scavenging through trash to find valuables, which you then sell to other animals for “Raccoins.” The goal is to climb the ranks as the ultimate trash collector by gathering rare items and boosting your wealth. Instead of traditional loot boxes, the game humorously focuses on rummaging through literal garbage, poking fun at consumerist trends like gacha mechanics.

The game critiques capitalism through its absurd premise, where even trash becomes a commodity. It won “Best Gameplay” at the 2024 Jingle Game Jam for its creative twist on resource-gathering gameplay.
