The story follows Ashley, a young woman living a quiet life with her husband and child in a small US town. Everything changes in a single morning. Explosions shake the streets. Alarms blare. Military convoys roll through neighborhoods that have never seen anything like it.

News reports break the worst of it – a rogue faction has staged a coup, overthrown the government, and locked away the president. Ashley doesn’t wait around. She picks up a weapon and joins the resistance, determined to take her country back one firefight at a time.
