Listworlds
Listworlds: Semi-Idle RPG Adventure Game
Listworlds is a semi-idle RPG where your entire journey plays out as a scrolling list of enemies, loot, and choices. You fight your way down the list, die, get stronger, and start the climb again.
That loop sounds simple, and it is—but it pulls more out of the format than you’d expect. Each creature on the list is a small encounter. Beat it, move down. Eventually something kills you, and that’s not failure so much as the point. Death feeds your next run.
How the Game Works
Combat runs on its own. You’re not mashing buttons—you’re watching timers fill and reacting when it matters. Filling circles track when an enemy is about to strike. Your own attacks show up as slashes. The system handles the swinging; your job is reading the board and deciding when to step in.
And stepping in usually means spells or pausing. Spells are limited per battle, so you can’t lean on them every fight. Pause whenever you need a second to think. The pacing rewards attention without demanding twitch reflexes, which makes it easy to dip into between other things.
Progression and Upgrades
Dying resets your run but not your growth. Once you bank enough experience, you level up and pick a stat to raise from a list beside your character. Players who like tinkering will get the most out of this—there’s room to specialize and reshape your build between attempts.
Skills work the same flexible way. You can swap an active skill at any time by clicking it for a refund, so a wall in one area becomes a puzzle of “what loadout breaks this?” rather than a dead end. Stuck somewhere? Change your strategy and try a different mix.
Loot and Selling
You’ll grab items as you go down the list. The ones you don’t want can be sold by right-clicking them, and selling enough unlocks a reward. It’s a tidy little economy layered on top of the combat—small, but it gives the grind a second thing to chase.
Watch the Dangerous Attacks
Not every enemy plays fair. A skull icon on an incoming attack means it’ll be lethal—that’s your cue to act. Some enemies also use special colored attacks that hit harder than usual. Pause the fight and hover over the enemy to see exactly what a special move does before it lands.
