Quake 3: Arena Online

Quake 3: Arena is back, now playable right in your web browser using WebGL. Just fire up Chrome or Firefox and head over to kbhgames.com for fast and easy access – no downloads needed. The game was released in 1999 developed by id Software.

This is a classic competitive first-person shooter. Players jump into intense arena battles against opponents. You choose the game mode, how many bots to fight, and set their difficulty. Once inside a map, the goal is straightforward: eliminate other players to score points. If you get taken out, you respawn immediately somewhere else on the map with full health, ready to jump back into the fight.

4 types of battles:

  1. Tournament
  2. Capture the flag
  3. Team death fight
  4. Every man for himself

9 types of weapons:

  1. Mitten. This is a standard melee weapon. always available, like a knife in counter strike.
  2. Machine gun. It’s also basic, not very strong, but very handy.
  3. Shotgun. It does great damage over short distances.
  4. Grenade launcher.
  5. Flare gun. It is great for a regime where everyone is for himself. You see the crowd – they have fallen down without looking – somebody will definitely move away.
  6. A weapon that releases a lightning bolt.
  7. Plasma gun.
  8. Rail gun. Positioned in the game as a sniper rifle.
  9. Well, BFG 10K. For those familiar with Quake and Doom, you do not need to explain what a BFG is. Well, for the ignorant, I’ll explain. BFG – Big Fucking Gun, a weapon whose shots will destroy anyone in their path. Although in the third quake, the BFG is a bit different from the canon. Here it looks more like a plasma gun, although the damage is the same.

Survival means grabbing better weapons like shotguns, rocket launchers, or railguns, plus essential power-ups like health packs, armor, and ammo scattered around the arena before you run out. The player with the most kills when time runs out wins. You can pick your favorite battleground, customize your warrior’s look and name, and hang on – the Vadrigar arena doesn’t wait.
