Mega Man 3

Mega Man 3 is an action-platformer that picks up after Mega Man 2, with Dr. Wily pretending to reform and helping Dr. Light build a peacekeeping robot called Gamma. But when eight new Robot Masters—like Shadow Man and Snake Man—go rogue and steal Gamma’s power crystals, Mega Man sets out to stop them, this time with help from his robotic dog, Rush.

Along the way, he faces Break Man, a masked rival with similar abilities. After defeating the Robot Masters and a set of powerful “Doc Robots” (who copy past bosses), Mega Man discovers Wily’s betrayal and chases him to a new fortress. The final battle ends with Gamma’s destruction and Wily seemingly crushed in the collapse—only for Break Man to save Mega Man and reveal himself as Proto Man, Mega Man’s long-lost brother.
