Bears vs. Art
Bears vs. Art: Free Puzzle Game Online – Play the Grid-Based Slash ‘Em Up
Bears vs. Art is a grid-based puzzle game where players guide a bear named Rory through art galleries to destroy every painting in sight. Developed by Halfbrick Studios, this premium version strips out ads and in-app purchases so the puzzle-solving stays uninterrupted.
The Story Behind Rory’s Rampage
Rory used to live a quiet life in the forest. Then a group of wealthy millionaires moved in, bulldozing chunks of his home to make room for abstract art galleries. He didn’t take it well.
Now he’s on a mission. Roll into every gallery, shred every painting, and reclaim what’s left of the woods. It’s a simple revenge plot — and it works.
How the Puzzle Game Works
The gameplay runs on a grid system with eight directions of movement. Once Rory starts rolling, he doesn’t stop until something solid blocks his path. That single mechanic is the entire backbone of the puzzle design, and it forces players to think several moves ahead before committing.
When Rory slams into a painting, he slices it. Job done. But getting to that painting? That’s the actual puzzle.
Obstacles, Guards, and Other Headaches
Each gallery throws something new at players. Lasers cut across paths. Spikes punish careless moves. Portals warp Rory to spots he didn’t plan on visiting. And the human element makes things messier — snooty guests wander the halls, security guards patrol with watchful eyes, and thieves try to swipe paintings before Rory can destroy them.
Some levels reward careful planning. Others are timed, demanding quick reads and faster reactions.
What You Get in This Version
Bears vs. Art ships with 125 galleries to clear. The premium tag means no ads break the flow and nothing gets locked behind a paywall mid-puzzle. Players who hate being interrupted every few levels will appreciate that.
