The Cat in Yellow is a first-person horror game and cat simulator built around one uneasy question: is the pet you just adopted actually safe? You raise a small yellow cat inside a freshly renovated house, and the longer it sticks around, the less normal everything feels.

A Pet Sim That Turns On You

It starts with a package. Inside is a tiny cat dressed in a yellow outfit, and at first the game plays like any ordinary virtual pet — you feed it, play with it, and put it to sleep while poking around your new home. Pleasant enough.

Then it changes. The cat starts watching you. It reacts in ways no real animal would, and somewhere along the line you stop thinking of it as a pet and start asking what it really is. Most of the dread shows up at night.

Searching the House for Answers

Getting anywhere means exploring. You unlock doors, search rooms, and gather clues that might explain the cat’s behavior — or just deepen the mystery. The house is the puzzle, and the cat is the thing you never want at your back.
