Bad Piggies: Physics Puzzle Building Game

Bad Piggies is a physics puzzle game where you build machines instead of solving the puzzle the usual way. It comes from the same team behind the Angry Birds universe, and you can play it free in your browser. The goal sounds simple: help a gang of green pigs reach their stolen eggs. Getting there is the hard part.

What sets this one apart is that the puzzle isn’t really the obstacle—the vehicle is. You’re handed a pile of parts and a finish line, and the rest is on you. Wheels, motors, fans, rockets, wings, balloons, umbrellas, and a long list of other gadgets all bolt together however you decide. Snap your contraption into shape, hit go, and watch whether it survives the trip.

How the Gameplay Works

Each level drops the pigs somewhere and puts the eggs somewhere else. Between the two is terrain that wants your machine to fall apart. You study the layout, pick parts, and assemble something that can roll, fly, crawl, or spin its way across.

And here’s the good bit: most levels have more than one answer. A flying machine might work. So might a clumsy rolling cart held together by hope. Sometimes the dumbest-looking build is the one that actually finishes the run. Experimenting is the whole point, and the physics rewards you for it more than punishing you.

Levels, Stars, and Bonus Content

There are over 200 levels to chew through. Beyond just reaching the eggs, you can chase special objectives to earn stars—those stars matter, because they unlock more than 40 bonus levels with tougher engineering demands. Hidden skulls scattered across stages open up secret sandbox levels too, and those hide some of the meanest challenges in the game.

Speaking of sandbox: there are several sandbox modes with no rules attached. Build something enormous. Test a ridiculous idea. Throw every part you have at one machine just to see what happens. Nobody’s stopping you.

Stuck? Let Mechanic Pig Handle It

If a level beats you, Mechanic Pig can auto-build a working vehicle. You can pilot that one as-is, or treat it as a starting point and tweak the design to perform better and grab extra stars. It’s a nice safety net that doesn’t take the creativity away from you.

Why Players Keep Coming Back

With 42 building parts and a near-endless number of ways to combine them, two players almost never solve a level the same way. The physics feels grounded, the animations are genuinely funny, and the open-ended building keeps things fresh long after most browser puzzle games run dry. The creative freedom pulls more weight than you’d expect from a free title.

It runs as a smooth HTML5 game, so it works directly in your browser on desktop and mobile—no downloads, no installs. That also makes it a solid pick if you’re hunting for unblocked puzzle games at school or just want a quick physics challenge on your phone. Build, crash, fly, and get those pigs to their eggs.
