Age of Heroes: Tower Defense Through Six Eras

Age of Heroes is a tower defense RPG from Serbull Studio. You summon heroes, upgrade towers, and wreck enemy bases across six eras of war.

Every battle runs on two lanes. Yours and theirs. You spend resources to send out warriors, they do the same, and whoever’s tower falls first loses the era. Knights, mages, and pets all stack into one squad, so a Stone Age brawler can end up fighting next to something with an energy weapon.

The Six Eras

Beat one era and the next unlocks. Each one swaps out your army and your tower designs.

• Stone Age. Basic troops and village defense. This is the tutorial in everything but name.
• Middle Ages. Knights show up, and so do castle sieges. Enemy walls start actually holding.
• Age of Gunpowder. Artillery and fortified towers. Damage numbers jump hard here.
• Modern Era. Aviation joins the fight and your army evolves past ground units.
• Future. Energy weapons and mechs, plus towers built to match them.
• Space Era. Interplanetary wars. Finish Earth and new planets open up with fresh enemies.

The Space Era towers look nothing like the Stone Age ones, which is more art effort than most browser strategy games bother with.

How Do You Play Age of Heroes?

Summon warriors, protect your tower, and push the lane until the enemy base drops. Resources tick up during the fight, so the real decision is what to spend them on. Cheap units clog the lane but die fast. Save up instead and you can drop a hero combo that clears the whole wave.

Upgrade your towers early. They’re doing damage the entire match while you’re busy summoning, and a weak tower means you lose ground you can’t win back. Pets are support, not damage. They buff the squad you already have.

There’s also a PvP arena where you fight other players’ hero teams. Read their lineup before you commit. Fast armies get stopped by tanky towers, and slow siege units fold if you rush them before they set up.
