Friday Night Funkin vs Ourple Guy
FNF Vs. Ourple Guy V3: A Rhythm Game Tribute to Five Nights at Freddy’s
FNF Vs. Ourple Guy V3 is a rhythm game mod that pits players against a strange, offbeat version of the infamous antagonist from the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe. It delivers a surprisingly packed tracklist and an unsettling atmosphere that somehow captures the spirit of the original horror series without taking itself too seriously.
Surviving the Night Through Rap Battles
Freeplay mode is actually where the bulk of the content hides. It holds an additional 17 bonus tracks. That is a massive lineup for any custom release. This section brings in familiar animatronics from the franchise like Bonnie and Chica. Fredbear and Henry Emily (the Cassette Man) also step up to the mic. Here’s where it gets interesting. Real-world internet personalities like MatPat, Markiplier, and Abdul Cisse show up for their own battles against the main villain. Seeing YouTube creators translated into this specific art style is incredibly surreal.
The main campaign throws Boyfriend into a story mode featuring five distinct songs. And the action isn’t limited to just hitting notes. The narrative unfolds through chaotic, heavily animated cutscenes that give the whole experience a bizarre charm. You are facing down William Afton—better known here as the unloved Ourple Guy. He barks out his vocals with a hoarse delivery that constantly reminds you who you are dealing with.
Rhythm veterans shouldn’t expect an easy ride just because the visuals lean toward parody. FNF Vs. Ourple Guy V3 pushes the speed and chart complexity hard enough to test players who have been mashing directional keys for years. Brutal. A large collaborative team built this project by pooling their talents. For instance, the song “FazNews” features contributions from Quiet Tomato. That is a smart inclusion since they created the original Springtrap and Mangle series that directly inspired that specific track.
