Ace Attorney (GBA)

Ace Attorney is a visual novel adventure game developed and published by Capcom, first released in 2001 for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. It has since been ported to multiple platforms, broadening its reach and fan base. The game introduces players to Phoenix Wright, a rookie defense attorney also known as “Nick,” who is dedicated to proving his clients “not guilty.”

The narrative unfolds through Phoenix’s interactions with a cast of recurring characters, including his mentor Mia Fey, her sister and his assistant Maya Fey, and his courtroom rival, prosecutor Miles Edgeworth. Gameplay is divided into two primary activities: investigations and courtroom trials. During the investigation phases, players collect evidence and gather information relevant to the case. In the courtroom trials, players must cross-examine witnesses and use the evidence gathered to challenge inconsistencies in testimonies, responding to questions from the judge, the prosecutor, and the witnesses.
