Pokemon Lazarus is a fan-made role-playing game set in the Ilos region, a new area inspired by the look and atmosphere of Greece. Created by Nemo622, the same developer behind Pokemon Emerald Seaglass, this version shares a familiar style but expands on it with new features, updated visuals, and a more immersive setting. Players can try out Pokemon Lazarus fast and easy on kbhgames.com for free, directly on their browser with no installation required.
Ilos is designed with a mix of landscapes like islands, deserts, and city areas that encourage players to explore. The story focuses on rediscovery and adventure, adding depth to the gameplay as you uncover local legends, battle opponents, and interact with new characters. A new group of villains also plays a major role, offering challenges that help drive the narrative forward.
At the start, players can choose one of nine starters from three different regions — Alola, Kalos, and Paldea — including familiar names like Rowlet, Froakie, and Fuecoco. The Pokedex has been reworked to include around 350 to 400 Pokémon, with attention given to balancing stats and improving game flow.
A few added details help make Ilos feel more alive, such as a day-and-night system that influences what Pokémon appear outdoors. The quick in-game time cycle means that different encounters happen often, and searching for certain Pokémon doesn’t take long. Some Pokémon will also appear visibly in the overworld, including shiny versions, giving players more ways to spot and catch them.
v1.0 complete
There’s also a Hard Mode for anyone who wants tougher battles against Gym Leaders or simply wants to replay the game with higher difficulty. Beyond combat, classic sliding puzzles from earlier Pokémon titles are included, adding variety to specific locations without making progress too complicated.
With its complete release in November 2025, Pokemon Lazarus offers an expanded storyline, a unique region, and thoughtful design choices that build on the experience fans already enjoy from other Pokémon fan projects.
