Greatest Heavyweights of the Ring (Sega)
“Greatest Heavyweights” is a boxing video game that Sega brought out in 1993 for the Sega Genesis console. It’s like the next step after another game called Evander Holyfield’s Real Deal Boxing, and it’s really similar but even cooler!
In the game, you can play as one of eight famous boxers from history like Muhammad Ali and Joe Louis. Plus, there are 30 other made-up boxers that you can fight against. This game uses a six-button control pad, which is better than the older game’s controls.
When you’re playing, you’ll notice that everything moves faster than in the previous game, which makes it super exciting. Also, the boxers can now tease each other with funny phrases during the fights, and these phrases are different for each boxer, even including some things they actually said in real life. They can also start teasing before the fight even begins, making it more fun and lively as you box your way to the top!
Just Have Fun!
