MARDEK RPG Chapter 2
MARDEK is an epic Flash RPG in the style of NES and SNES RPGs, like the early Final Fantasy games.

Please, please read the in-game Instructions before complaining that you don’t know how to play the game!! Also, there are some Known Bugs. Before playing, make sure you are playing the version marked (on the title and preloader screens) as “v1.2.0912K”. That has the fewest bugs. The ones I know about are mostly obscure, and are as follows: – If you have extremely bad luck, you might encounter a battle as you step onto a specific dialogue trigger in the Gem Mines. This is an incredible rarity, but apparently it’s happened to some people. If it DOES happen, I recommend refreshing the page and loading a save or autosave. It is very, VERY unlikely that it will happen twice in a row. – Opening the menu right on the exact frame that a battle begins is also possible, and causes a bug. This requires extremely (un)lucky timing, and is hardly a common occurence. I suggest refreshing the page if it occurs, and you can prevent it while stopping walking – even for a split second – before opening the menu. – Dying and then reloading the game *sometimes* seems to cause bugs, rarely, but this can be prevented if you refresh the page after dying instead of loading a game or going to the Main Menu from the Game Over screen, or by, y’know, not dying. (Gah, the formatting of this box is awful and doesn’t display my line breaks at all, making this an unsightly block of text instead of a helpful reference list thing!)
