Slalom (NES)

“Slalom” is a skiing video game developed by Rare and published by Nintendo in 1986, featuring downhill slalom races. Players select from three mountains of varying difficulty and race against time, navigating around obstacles and performing tricks for points. The game includes 24 runs across these mountains, with gameplay focusing on dodging trees, snowmen, and other skiers, while managing tight turns around flags to avoid losing speed. Points from tricks contribute to the player’s score, which can extend time in solo races without other skiers onscreen.
