This version of the game maintains the essence of its console counterpart with adapted features suitable for the GBA.
Game World: The city in “Need for Speed: Underground 2” is split into five unique neighborhoods, ranging from tranquil suburban hills to a bustling downtown grid. These areas are interconnected by freeways, offering a seamless environment for high-speed pursuits and exploration.
Vehicles and Customization: Players can choose from over 30 tuner cars from a variety of well-known manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Toyota, Ford, and Volkswagen. The game emphasizes deep customization options, allowing players to modify nearly every aspect of their vehicle. This includes performance tuning with hundreds of licensed parts, enhancing speed, handling, and durability for competitive races.
In addition to performance tweaks, extensive aesthetic modifications are also available. Players can add scissor doors, spoilers, custom headlights, side skirts, roof scoops, various hood designs, rims, wide body kits, and even neon lighting to create a car that not only performs well but also looks unique.
