“Heels On Fire” is a whimsical and oddly addictive game that puts players in control of none other than the legendary 80s action star, Jean-Claude Van Damme, as he performs his iconic splits between two speeding trucks.

Originally developed for the Pirate Software game jam, “Heels On Fire” pays tribute to the unforgettable Volvo commercial featuring Van Damme executing a jaw-dropping split between two colossal 18-wheeler trucks. The game’s objective is simple yet challenging: earn the highest score possible by stretching Van Damme’s legs as far as they can go without causing damage to the trucks or risking the action hero’s limbs.

Players control each truck independently, allowing them to adjust the width of Van Damme’s splits. However, navigating the hazardous road is no easy task, as obstacles litter the path, threatening to derail the daring stunt. Spread too far, and players risk witnessing a comical catastrophe as Van Damme’s legs (and even his head!) come off. Additionally, players can collect tokens to unlock various alternate costumes, including nods to the original Volvo ad outfit, as well as character skins like Kingpin and Anubis.

With its simple yet addictive gameplay and hilariously absurd premise, “Heels On Fire” promises endless entertainment and laughs. Just remember, pulling off Van Damme’s famous stunt may be tougher than it looks – even for the Muscles from Brussels himself!
