Ecks vs. Sever

“Ecks vs. Sever” is a pioneering first-person shooter video game for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Crawfish Interactive and released in November 2001. This game holds the unique distinction of being based on an early script of the 2002 film “Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever,” making it the first video game to be released before the actual production of the film it was based on had started. A sequel to the game, which aligns more closely with the film’s plot, was released shortly after the movie.

Gameplay Overview

In “Ecks vs. Sever,” players begin by choosing to play as either Ecks or Sever, each with their own distinct storyline and mission set. The game features a dual narrative structure, where the stories of the two characters intertwine, providing different perspectives and mission designs for each character. There are a total of eleven levels per character, interspersed with challenging boss battles against the opposing character.
